An issue was discovered that is prohibiting the Kaspersky scan engine from updating successfully on Forefront and Antigen installations on both Exchange and Sharepoint. Firefox Thunderbird Windows Media Player WinVN Newsreader etc. Sounds like a hotfix will be needed.

I installed it and when I try to get the update upon installation completion the update gets stuck at 99 and then another message comes. Ask about a full scale data migration and deployment. We are aware of the issue and working diligently to deliver a timely solution to the field.

By Kevin Arrows March 23 2018. I am cleaning them up and were working on upgrading the AV software to see if it alleviates the problem but if anyone else has seen and resolved. Some of my updates stuck at 95 for over a day until I rebooted.
