Now around 24 hours or so later my usage is back at 128GB159GB in use is 128GB for committed RAM its 139GB. You have a little misunderstanding You have 16GB of ram which is 16316MB Kasperskey is using 157MB so its not using that much. Kaspersky wasnt running a scan. Its a total kludge compared to the rest of the application.
The application itself runs so smoothly uses up so very few resources but the updater uses way too much cpu resources for how slow the process is. Kaspersky on my machine is only using about 16MB.
