Kaspersky windows 10 high cpu usage. The consequence of this is often waiting 10-20 seconds for other applications to respond. Today I noticed things really hanging up a lot very laggy more than normal. It will stop for a few seconds and go down to 0 but will eventually go back up.
I have Windows 10 home edition and updated to the latest version. Since upgrading from windows 7 to 10 my pc has been slowed down to a crawl by periods of very high cpu usage. 2 replies Yesterday at night i updated kaspersky security cloud from 2020 version to 2021 and today when i turned on the computer since morning kaspersky anti-virus keeps using 35 40 of cpu for a few minutes which is also causing the CPU to get hotter than usual.
The CPU column reaches up to 99 or even 100 its a High CPU Usage issue. This continues either for several hours or as I usually lose patience to wait for it to stop until I reboot the PC. I would like to know which version of kaspersky you are using.
At the Process tab check the usage state of CPU Memory and Disk. This makes the laptop overheat reduces battery life and slows work to a crawl. When your computer boots up you should be able to see whether or not your CPU usage got lower.
According to a google search the process avpexe is a process belonging to Kaspersky Internet Security Suite but is also a process which is registered as a trojan. Press Ctrl Alt Del keys and select Task Manager. Same issue with me Kaspersky Security Cloud Free 21115500a using around 25 of CPU usage.
