Kaspersky Firefox Extension Greyed Out
I installed paid edition of Kaspersky Internet Security v20014 in Windows 10 64 Bit.
Kaspersky firefox extension greyed out. In Firefox click the menu button and select Add-ons. If you did install the browser extension you should uninstall it. Firefox just updated to 430 and upon restarting it reported that Kaspersky Protection cound not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled.
I installed the Kaspersky Protection extension on the new Edge browser Version 83047858 Official build 64-bit under Windows 10 and enabled it in the extensions page but it remains stubbornly greyed out. So when I go to the 1Password desktop app I see Chrome as paired browser but not Firefox. Kaspersky Protection Extension will be enabled and its icon will appear in the top part of the browser window.
What stands out most about this platform is that it comes with browser extensions for Chrome Firefox and Edge. KIS still recommending to install extension even it is already there. Just realized that extension is not working and is greyed out.
This is how it looks like when I click on the shield icon. Please enter your email address and password then click the login button. Kaspersky has been around for decades and is a brand name thats trusted by millions of users around the world.
According to Mozilla Kaspersky Protection Extension doesnt correspond to the criteria of recommended extensions for its browser as listed below. Kaspersky Password Manager offers browser extensions for Chrome Firefox Edge and Internet Explorer. When I visited a website the Password Manager extension placed a grey key icon in any login fields on the page.
This extension or add-on automatically added to Mozilla Firefox and Google C. Click the switch for Kaspersky Protection to the enabled position. Kaspersky is aware that Kaspersky Protection Extension plugin has been listed as non-recommended in the Mozilla FireFox add-on store.
